Job Summary

Our client is seeking a position for care home manager, with experience. to work in a small friendly residential care home.

We are looking for a person who is as passionate about  Care. Having a previous registered manager status would be distinct advantage. It is essential that you are registered Nurse.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Nursing Home Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of this 30 +-bedded nursing home.

Liaison with the Social Care Regulators, Local Authority and Fire Authority to ensure satisfactory standards are maintained at the Home.

You will have a good working knowledge of the H&SCA 2008 and the Regulations.

You must be able to take responsibility for all aspects of care and promote our values of choice, dignity and respect.

You will be able to build strong relationships with our residents and their families to support our ethos of individual care.

You will be responsible for writing and overseeing care plans and ensuring that medications are stored and administered safely.

You will be able to arrange and monitor staff training and carry out supervisions and appraisals.

You will be prepared to cover shifts if needed.

You will need to be competent and confident with the use of I.T.
